At the time of his retirement he was a Senior Key Account Engineer in the Major Accounts Section of the Marketing & Energy Services Department; where he was responsible for the accounts 30 large energy users with annual gas & electric revenues of $40 million. Jack also served as the Chairman of BGE's Customer Advisory Committee, which consisted of 12 large gas customers, which met quarterly to discus pertinent energy issues. During Jack's career at BGE he also worked for two years with the administration of the Delivery Service Gas program where he worked with BGE's 200 largest gas customers & gas marketers. In 1987 Jack had the position of Supervisor-Customer Engineering in which he was responsible for reviewing the engineering & pricing of new business projects. Jack has received an EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) Innovator award for his work with an energy efficiency project at a paper mill, and had an "EPRI Signature" published for his work on power quality issues with the Baltimore Sunpapers. Jack also has an Advanced Power Quality Certificate from PEAC (Power Electronics Application Center). Jack also has substantial experience working with customers on electric power distribution and power factor correction. In 1998 Jack was a presenter on a panel at the annual AGA Conference. That presentation was published in the November '98 edition of Pipeline & Gas Journal. Jack has a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the University of Maryland.
