Mack's responsibilities have included corporate technical direction and strategic planning, seeking out and locating opportunities for power generation and combined heat & power (CHP) project development, negotiation of land agreements and management of resources required to bring projects through development to completion.

He has worked for small engineering firms, banks, private and public companies, including the world’s largest designer, manufacturer and supplier of medium and low speed reciprocating engines involving assignments around the world. Mr. Shelor has extensive experience in development of complex and highly technical projects including coal-fired power plants, waste to energy plants, anthracite culm fired power plants, renewable power projects, engine and combustion turbine based power plants and CHP projects. He has authored numerous technical papers and has been widely published in the fields of power, industrial processes and industrial infrastructure and is the holder of four, power industry related, registered patents. Mr. Shelor has a BS in Business from Virginia Tech.
